KITCHEN- SCOTT

BEFORE- View of the existing kitchen cabinets and floor. The Double window to the far right was recently replaced, reducing the height so that new base cabinets would fit underneath
DURING- all of the cabinets and flooring have been removed. There's new recessed lighting, the old bulkheads have been eliminated, and the dining room doorway has been moved to create more cabinet space.
AFTER- View of the completed kitchen with new hardwood flooring.
AFTER- A close-up view of the crown molding. The cabinets were custom-made as was the crown molding which runs seamlessly from the cabinets to the rest of the room.
AFTER- many customers choose to put a recessed light above the kitchen sink. This customer chose to go with a beautiful new hanging light which creates circular shadows when lit.
AFTER- this is a good view of the range and range hood. This customer chose a slide in range with a standalone glass range hood which becomes the centerpiece for the kitchen... It is ducted directly outside and is very powerful.
AFTER- A closer view of this corner shows the small microwave which sits on a shelf above the countertop. The cabinets were custom-made, so the microwave fits perfectly.
AFTER- A close-up view of the microwave shelf cabinet shows that the cabinet to the right is a spice rack pull-out.
BEFORE- The existing Penninsula was angled away from the wall to avoid the old windows which would have interfered with the cabinets.
DURING- all of the cabinets have been removed and all work to the plumbing, electric, walls and ceiling is finished. New oak hardwood flooring has been installed throughout the first floor. masonite has been laid down to protect the new hardwood.
AFTER- this beautiful view shows the new kitchen with two new pendant lights centered over the new peninsula. The lights are clear glass with old-style Edison bulbs
AFTER- this picture was taken without a flash and it shows how the hanging lights provide beautiful accent lighting for the kitchen
AFTER- this is a great view of the kitchen. The backside of the 2 level peninsula is 42 inches high… And is finished with wood panels to match the cabinet doors. All of the cabinetry was custom-made by "Raver cabinets"
BEFORE- View of the kitchen and the old peninsula. The green sheet rock underneath the double window is covering a new section of wall that was occupied by the old windows. Raising the windows opened up new design possibilities.
AFTER- this before/after sequence of pictures show how much larger the new kitchen cabinet floorplan is. The cabinets now extend 6 feet further than before..
AFTER- The peninsula is two levels- an upper level for seating and eating and a lower level with countertop workspace.
BEFORE View of the kitchen sink/window wall
AFTER- View of the kitchen sink/window wall. A glass subway tile was used to finish all of the backsplash wall space.
AFTER- The cabinet to the right of the dishwasher is an 18 inch wide base cabinet which rolls out to reveal two trashcans for garbage and recycling. The rollout is dovetail construction with full extension undermount slides
AFTER- close-up view of the inside corner created by the peninsula
AFTER- The base cabinet to the right of the trashcan pull-out has rollout shelves. The corner base cabinet to the right of that is a lazy Susan with rotating shelves
AFTER- A custom made square edge shoe molding was fabricated by the cabinet maker as a nice trim piece along the floor
AFTER- The glass tile backsplash continues seamlessly along the peninsula. The peninsula has two duplex outlets in the backsplash , each of which has 2 plugs and 2 USB ports – Perfect for charging phones and tablets!
AFTER- View of the family room that adjoins the kitchen. The existing cabinets on the fireplace wall were replaced with custom-made cabinets and mantle.
AFTER- these cabinets were made by Raver cabinets – same as the kitchen cabinets – but they have a paint finish instead of a stain finish
AFTER- close-up view of the new built-in cabinets. All of the shelving is adjustable.
